Abba,  Jimmy Cliff,  The Hollies Genesis and The Stooges next year's inductees at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

They are part of an eclectic group of 12 acts in contention for the 2010 class.
Only five acts made it in. The 25th annual induction ceremony is slated for March 15 in New York City. The inductees will be announced in December.

Look at the character list and there are only four original members listed - Joan, Lita, Cherie and Sandy.

Kiss release 1st new album in 10 years.

Kiss will release their first new album since 1999 via Walmart on October 6th. The current lineup here is Tommy Thayer, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Gene Simmons.

Sad to hear that Gordon Waller of Peter & Gordon died on the 16th in Connecticut. Another original British Invasion artist, Gordon was 64.
